Coaching Consistency is designed to be a resource for coaches who want to develop mental skills with their athletes and are looking for a place to start. This website will provide lesson ideas, discussion topics, book reviews, and other resources aimed to develop those mental skills.

Why? Because even though more and more is being done today for skill development, strength programs, and movement analysis, it’s still people that play the games—and people are complex. Coaching them isn’t an all-variables-remaining-constant experiment. As a matter of fact, assume all variables have varied, and your player will be competing in a different mental state than at the time of practice. Unless, of course, you do something about it.

That’s my aim—to help you do something about it. To help you get your players to show up and compete with a consistent mental posture and genuine confidence in their preparation.
